Casalina Homes Pty Ltd (“Casalina Homes”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you deal with us, how we use it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, call or email us, we collect the details you give us. That usually includes:

• your name, phone number and email address
• your suburb or postcode and the type of build you are planning
• anything you write in your message
• any floor plans, site plans or other files you choose to upload

If you go on to build with us, we will collect further information needed to prepare a tender and contract, such as the address and details of your site, and information needed for council or certifier approvals, finance and home warranty insurance.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health or financial account details through this website. Please don't include it in an enquiry.

How we use it

• to respond to your enquiry and book an appointment
• to prepare pricing, tenders, plans and contracts for your build
• to manage your build, including approvals, suppliers, trades and insurers
• to keep in touch about your project
• to meet our legal obligations

We won't sell your personal information, and we won't send you marketing unless you have asked us to. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information where it is needed for your build or required by law. That can include architects, engineers, surveyors, certifiers and councils, our trades and suppliers, home warranty insurers, and the providers who host our website and email. We expect them to protect it.

This website

Our website uses a small number of third-party services to work: fonts from Google Fonts, an embedded Google Map on our contact page, and script libraries delivered from public content networks. When your browser loads these, the provider receives technical information such as your IP address. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, we will update this policy.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. Records about building work are kept for the periods required under NSW building and home warranty laws.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
