BOX HILL

A single-storey home built around a courtyard pool.

Every living space looks onto the water. The house wraps around a tiled courtyard with a pool and spa, and walls of black-framed glass and louvres bring it into the kitchen, the dining room and the hallways.

Clerestory windows run high along the ceilings, so the rooms fill with light without giving up privacy. A long stone island anchors the kitchen, a linear fireplace sits in a stone feature wall, and the main suite has a walk-in robe and a freestanding bath.
